Stained glass taster class - Heart or Star
This workshop is suitable mainly for beginners, this is a perfect opportunity to try a new craft, a hobby or as a birthday present.
You have a choice of either a star or heart up to 15cm big.
This taster half day workshop normally takes about 4 hours and it’s up to max. 3 people due to the size of my studio. Workshops are usually run on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
What is included in the price?
The workshop fee is £50 per person and covers up to 4 hrs where you will complete a unique stained-glass heart or a star
up to 15 cm, ready to hang with pride in your home. You can choose from 3 different patterns and many glass colours.
All materials are provided and full guidance from me throughout the workshop. Small refreshments are also available.
Please wear "workshop" clothes, no fluffy jumpers (tend to catch fragments). No open toed sandals or shoes. Please be aware you will be working with flux, which is chemicals. It is advised to wear gloves (I supply - Nitrile Gloves - Disposable Powder Free & Latex - medium size). If you have any gloves or rubber allergies, please let me know in advance or please bring your own. I also supply FFP3 face masks which have - High Filtration - 5 Layers - EN149 CE Certified- Hypoallergenic - Fluid Resistant - Ear Loops & Adaptable Nose Bridge.
The class is not suitable for pregnant women or for students who are not capable of following the safety and instruction guidance. I do reserve the right to remove a student from a class if it becomes evident they are unable to safely follow instructions.
Children min. age 10+ are welcome with full paying adults.
If anyone is not comfortable cutting the glass, I can pre-cut the glass for you at no extra cost - especially for the children.

This workshop is suitable for experienced or returning customers. In this workshop you can bring your own design or choose from many patterns available in the studio.
This workshop normally takes about 4 hours or it depends on your chosen design and it’s up to max. 3 people due to the size of my studio.

What is included in the price?
In this workshop you can choose your own design and come as many times as you need to finish it.
Price is £15/hr for designs up to 10cm big and £20/hr for designs up to 20cm big. The prices include all provided materials and full guidance from me throughout the workshop. Small refreshments are also available.

Acrylic paint pouring workshop
In this 3 hrs workshop you will create 2x acrylic paint pouring pictures each 25x20cm on canvas (8x10in).
You don’t need to be artistic at all.
You will create 2 pictures - 1 x feather, 1 x sunflower using a drinking straw and craft tools. This is a slightly messy but really fun workshop.
Many colours for the background and the designs are available on the day.
What is included in the price:
This workshop costs £50 per person and it’s about 3hrs long.
You can take the paintings straight home, or leave it to dry at my studio for 2-3 days and collect at your convenience.
Posting to you can also be arranged for a small cost.

My studio
My workshops are running from my small purposedly built studio in Silverton.
I started making stained glass about 15 years ago, and at the times when I didn't have any studio,
I was trying a different crafts such as patchworking, crocheting, sewing but I always came back to stained glass. These days I am exploring the fused glass world.
Now you have the opportunity to try any of my workshops and don't worry, you don't have to an artistic bone in your body at all - with my customers we are always having a lots of fun.
